Rapid Cure Prepreg
Tenax™ ThermoSet Rapid Cure Prepregs have the unique property of being fully cured after 20 minutes at 160°C, with no post-curing required. By comparison, other prepregs require cure cycles of up to 4 hours, followed by a freestanding post-cure to achieve suitable cross-linking. Tenax™ ThermoSet Rapid Cure Prepregs are processable via press or autoclave. Teijin also offers an automotive version with a total cycle time of less than 5 minutes.
