Teijin Carbon at CAMX - The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo

Our time at CAMX - The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo in Atlanta started off a little quieter than usual due to the Halloween festivities. But the show quickly picked up momentum. With the largest exhibition space in the history of CAMX, it's a great platform to present our sustainable material innovations and have intensive discussions. We value every exchange and are happy to be part of this dynamic industry.


Under the theme "Reinforcing Excellence", the Teijin group members Teijin Carbon America, Inc., Teijin Automotive Technologies and Teijin Aramid USA came together at CAMX - The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo to showcase their latest solutions. At the booth, you will see ultra-strong protection, innovative applications and high-temperature performance. Needless to say, sustainability is another theme we all share. 

Climate commitment means for us: We work tirelessly to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and promote a circular economy.  Lightweight carbon fiber structures enables the generation and application of renewable energy, enables reduction of emissions in the mobility and construction sectors, and thus reduces the consumption of limited resources.

TenaxTM Carbon Fiber and the Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) Precursor Fiber produced at Teijin’s Mishima Plant in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan has received the ISCC - International Sustainability and Carbon Certification PLUS certification from the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification system. This is the world’s first achievement that carbon fiber and PAN to simultaneously earn this certification, which is a globally recognized standard for the recovery of waste and residues that provide feedstocks for circular plastics.
