Teijin Carbon Europe receives EcoVadis Silver – an important step on our sustainability journey

Teijin Carbon Europe has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal in this year’s assessment. With a score of 72/100, our company ranks among the top 15% of all evaluated companies in our industry.

EcoVadis assesses sustainability performance based on a comprehensive set of criteria. We achieved particularly strong results in the categories Environment and Labor & Human Rights– reflecting the progress we are making in strengthening our processes and standards.

A strong start

This was the first time Teijin Carbon Europe participated in the EcoVadis assessment. Achieving the Silver Medal right from the start highlights the maturity of our sustainability processes and the dedication of our teams across all departments.

Why this matters

For us, sustainability is not a trend but an integral part of how we operate. Customers in aerospace, civil engineering, industry, marine, energy and other sectors expect not only technological excellence but also demonstrably responsible production.

The EcoVadis Silver Medal provides internationally recognized, independent confirmation of this. At the same time, the assessment highlights clear opportunities for improvement – particularly in the sustainable procurement – which we will now address further within our project teams.
