Towpreg

Tenax™ ThermoSet Towpreg has been developed for applications in the industrial and filament winding sector. The aim is to use this fiber-matrix combination to increase the composite material performance, increase the material throughput and reduce non-productive machine time (vs. liquid impregnation methods). Our Towpreg is based on the Tenax™ ITS50 24K fiber and an optimised epoxy resin system. The Tg is around 140° C.

Further Towpreg variants for other winding applications are under development.
