Physic laboratory technician / materials tester (m/f/d)

Your future field of activity

  • Determination of characteristic values through static and dynamic tests on material testing machine
  • Non-destructive testing with the devices provided for this purpose
  • Testing of fiber-reinforced plastics with strain gauges
  • Evaluation of static tests, interpretation of measurement curves and parameters including monitoring, control, documentation and presentation of results in accordance with national and international standards as well as customer specifications
  • Production of micrograph preparations on fiber composites to determine defects 
  • Preparation of work instructions in accordance with QM specifications
  • Project-oriented collaboration on projects of the client and / or the laboratory management
  • Maintenance and care of technical facilities, equipment and systems
  • Monitoring and order-related disposition of raw and auxiliary materials

Requirements

  • Completed training as a physics laboratory technician (m/f/d), materials tester (m/f/d) or completed training as a physical-technical assistant (m/f/d) with several years of professional experience
  • Knowledge in the field of strain gauge application, in handling Zwick materials testing machines, measurement data acquisition and evaluation software TestXpert as well as experience in micrograph preparation are desirable
  • Familiarity with typical laboratory equipment and materials
  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and application software for measuring units
  • Reliable, independent and responsible working style
  • Ability to work in a team and a friendly, cooperative demeanor
  • Good German language skills (B2) and good technical English skills (B1)
