Electrical Engineer - Automation Technology (m/f/d)

Your future field of activity

  • You will plan and implement automation projects that optimize our production processes and drive forward innovative manufacturing methods.
  • You will take responsibility for the development and expansion of automation systems, particularly in the area of robot handling.
  • In cross-departmental projects, you will work on process, technical and quality-oriented tasks and take on specialist project management.
  • You will accompany the project planning and support of process control systems (Siemens PCS7) and ensure successful implementation.
  • You will coordinate and manage external engineering offices and service providers in the field of automation and electrical engineering
  • In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating exciting automation projects that actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our production processes. The focus will be on implementation and control - the programming of the systems will be carried out by external partners. 

What we are looking for

  • A degree in engineering in the field of automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification.
  • Completed training in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics is desirable.
  • Initial professional experience in the automation of production systems is an advantage.
  • Ideally, you will have knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens S7).
  • Your independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working is just as important as your ability to work across departments and in a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a good command of German and English round off your profile.
