II. General information for processing applicant data
In order for us to involve you in the application process for a specific position, you will need to provide us with the usual and significant application documents that provide us with information about your personality profile and qualifications.
Generally, we only use your application documents to decide whether to fill the position for which you have expressly applied. In the course of the application process, more personal data may be collected for this purpose from you personally or from generally accessible sources. The legal bases for data processing are Article 6 Para. 1 Sentence 2 Letter b in conjunction with Article 28 GDPR, Section 26 Para. 1 BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act). If the application procedure does not lead to your recruitment, we will usually delete and destroy your application data as soon as a period of six months has elapsed after the completion of the application procedure for the position in question. This does not apply if legal regulations exclude deletion, if you have expressly agreed to a longer storage (of your data) or if we refer to a legitimate interest as defined by Article 6 para. 1 f) DSGVO.
However, if you submit an unsolicited application that does not relate to a specific position, we can use your application documents in the context of recruitment decisions for all possible positions. We will delete and destroy your application data after a period of six months from the date of receipt of your application, but not before all the application procedures to which your application documents have been subject are complete and a period of six months has elapsed since then.
We may statistically evaluate information on incoming applications in order to get an overview of our range of applicants. For this purpose, we may retain anonymised data even after deletion of your application documents, which do not allow any conclusions about you.
